Calling all writers and thinkers! Students in Grades 8–12 can showcase their ideas on global issues in the Yale International Relations Global Essay Competition 2025–2026. Participants will attend webinars led by Yale students, sharpen their writing, and submit a 400–500 word essay. Finalists will receive personalized feedback, and winners will earn prestigious recognition and prizes:
1st Place: $500 | 2nd Place: $400 | 3rd Place: $300
Early Application Fee: $29 (Deadline: Jan 6, 2026)
Regular Application Fee: $50 (Deadline: Jan 8, 2026)
Essay Submission: Feb 2–8, 2026
Winners Announced: Mar 31, 2026
All participants receive a certificate from the Yale International Relations Association and Learn with Leaders.
