This article will explore the rules of the road and what to do in a car accident.
Why should we follow the rules of the road? The reason is that the rules keep us safe. In America there are 6 million car accidents every year. Learning the rules of the road will help you prevent car accidents from happening frequently. This article will talk about what rules to follow and what to do if you are involved in a car accident.

One rule of the road is that you should never go over the speed limit because you might crash into another car.
The second rule is you should always stop at a stop sign so you can let other cars go through and when it’s your turn you can go. The third rule is turning on the blinker when you are changing lanes or when you are going to go left or right. The fourth rule is looking for signs if you can do a U-turn. If the U-turn symbol has no red circle with a line across, you can do a U-turn but if the sign says ‘No U-turn’ or has a red circle with a line you can’t make a U-turn. The fifth rule is to refrain from parking by a sidewalk that has red because that can get you a ticket and you will probably pay a lot of money for it.

When you are in a car accident call 911 if there have been injuries. Then you want to obtain the names, addresses, phone numbers, and the drivers license number of those involved in the accident. Next, you will obtain the license plates and the vehicular identification numbers. If you crash into a car that has no driver nearby you will have to leave a note. In conclusion, be safe on the road HTO; this is Jose Hernandez singing off.
