Front Office Spotlight

A spotlight of the Hayward Twin Oaks front office team.

Ms. Nelly

Ms. Nelly Madina takes care of attendance and the lunch program at our school. She does a lot to keep the campus clean and enjoys being around students who want to make a positive difference. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with students, and her least favorite part is meetings. The craziest thing she’s seen at work was finding human feces on campus and when the cat was roaming around the campus. In her free time, she likes to sing and do puzzles, and she’s great at listening and making people feel better.

Ms. Mayra

Ms. Mayra Miramontes is the office manager, and she takes care of student enrollment. She really likes her job, especially getting to work with the people in the office. Her least favorite part is seeing students skipping class. The craziest thing she’s ever seen at work was a dead deer outside the building! She says she doesn’t really have any hobbies or special talents, but she enjoys what she does and wouldn’t mind working here for many more years because she really likes her job.

Mr. Muerle 

Mr. Alex Muerle is the principal of Hayward Twin Oaks. His job includes managing student behavior, creating rules and policies, supervising the staff, and communicating with families. He also works with the elementary campus. He really likes his job, and his favorite part is working behind the scenes to plan and create new strategies that help students be successful in life. His least favorite part is dealing with behavior management. The craziest things he’s encountered are some of the interesting interactions he’s had with students. In his free time, he enjoys taking care of his puppies and playing video games.
