California's new phone law could change school life for many students. The law limits phone use during school hours to reduce distractions and improve learning. Some students agree with the law while others think phones should still be allowed in certain situations.

The state of California introduced a new bill requiring schools to prohibit the use of phones in classes. This law will assist students in paying more attention to their studies and achieving better grades. Besides, phones cause distraction since more teenagers are involved with social media and messages while sitting in class.
Some students share the same point of view regarding the issue and claim that the phones are distractions. According to them, the implementation of the law will help students pay attention to their activities and engage with others. Other teenagers are happy about having a phone in classes as it means you can use it for emergencies.

While school districts may have different policies in general. The law suggests that stricter policies be put into place regarding the use of phones. The significance of this issue is that phones have become a significant part of students' lives nowadays. Going forward more strict technology policies may continue to be developed.
